Shout out to Matt Payne at Width.ai. Great article on using dynamic shot prompting for each turn of the conversation to optimize the bot’s ability to flow with the conversation and give ideal responses. Brilliant technique here. We have a lot to learn from people in the field who have been developing solutions for customers since GPT2!

We've Got The Receipts on Building Custom Chatbots

We've been building custom ai chatbots that outperform old school frameworks with GPT since 2021. Our original article shows how even back in GPT-3 you could leverage the power of these large language models to build custom ai chatbots that don't go off the guardrails and learn your exact tones, language, and preferred conversational queues. Check out our original architecture above or give the article a read below.

Matt has expert-level knowledge and a great consultant. He helped us assess an outside vendor and allowed us to ask the right/intelligent questions. In the end, his knowledge saved us from getting into a deal that I think would have been very bad. Saved us $10s of 1000s of $s.

Are your custom ai chatbot solutions set up to integrate into existing systems?

Yes! Pretty much all of the chatbots we build are used as integrations into existing systems. We build all of our natural language processing systems as deployable APIs so they can easily be added to a SaaS UI, internal workflow, or mobile apps.

Does custom chatbot development take long?

There are a ton of variables that go into the length of time it takes to go from zero to hero when building truly intelligent chatbots. Things like:

- What is the scope level (MVP vs Prod)? Every POC we build is scoped to 27 days.
- Are we integrating external tools and APIs into the workflow?
- How complex is our knowledgebase?
- Are we tracking customer interactions?
- Do we have any speed or infrastructure requirements?

Completely drive the timeline. We scope everything ahead of time so you know exactly what the plan is and how we will get there.

How are you a different ai chatbot development company?

We're not a general software firm where ai is branch of what we do, its all we do. Custom chatbot solutions are something we've been building before these other firms decided to move into ai.
